One charter standard · six included things
What every charter includes.
Nine vessels, one named operator on the licence, one safety briefing, one cooler with ice. Everything below is included on every booking — nothing is added at the dock.
One Croatian, eleven seasons, nine boats.
I'm Marin Kovačević. I started this charter operation in 2015 with a single 5-HP Pasara out of Marina Frapa, working it solo most weekends. By 2018 the second boat arrived; by 2023 the Cap Camarat 9.0 CC luxury flagship joined the fleet.
Today the fleet is nine vessels — three self-drive, six skippered, plus the Fish Picnic shared-charter day-boat — but the operating logic hasn't changed: the named operator on the licence is the captain who replies to your WhatsApp.
Marina Frapa · 9 vessels · 1 named operator
The fleet at Marina Frapa.
Three self-drive (no licence required) · six skippered (Cat. C captain in the price) · plus the Fish Picnic shared-charter day-boat. Each card jumps to the matching anchor on the fleet page.
The math at 5 paying adults
Why a charter beats the group tour.
A standard 4-hour group Blue Cave tour from a competitor is ~€60 / pp. A 4-hour half-day charter on the Cap Camarat 6.5 CC is €300 whole boat, up to 8 guests. From 5 paying adults the per-head charter price ties the group-tour rate — and from 6 you set the route at a real saving.
| Party size | Per-person on charter | Cheaper option |
|---|---|---|
| 2 adults | €150 | Group tour wins on price |
| 4 adults | €75 | Group tour wins by €15 |
| 5 adults | €60 | Effective tie · charter wins on routing |
| 6 adults | €50 | Charter wins by €60 |
| 8 adults | €38 | Charter wins by €176 |
Direct vs platform · same boat, less commission
Same captain, same berth — minus the platform fee.
The commission gap (~15–20%) is what platforms keep. Booking through Marin keeps it with the operation — and the captain who replies to your WhatsApp is the same person you'll meet at the dock.
